University College Cork (UCC) is ranked at 310th position by QS and is among the top 2% of universities in the world. UCC was awarded the Sunday Times University of the Year on five occasions and is ranked among Europe’s top 50 for teaching excellence. Times Higher Education Impact Rankings has ranked UCC at 32th place in the world. The University was the first in Europe to be awarded a Gold Star from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. Over 94% of UCC’s graduates are in employment or further studies six months after graduation. Over 23% of graduates are mature students, students with disabilities and non-traditional college goers. The University is also home to more than 100 different societies.
