OVERVIEW

Mount Allison has been ranked Canada’s #1 undergraduate university by Maclean’s magazine 21 times in the past 29 years. Maclean has also highly ranked the University’s faculty for national awards won and percentage of full-time instructional faculty with a PhD, or highest degree in their field.

The University offers over 40 programs of study and five degree options in subject areas such as: American studies, applied physics, astronomy, aviation, Canadian studies, classical studies, cognitive science, commerce, computer science, diversity, equity, and inclusion, performing arts, English, environmental science, history, international economics and business, mathematics, languages, literatures, and cultures, museum and curatorial studies, philosophy, politics, and economics, psychology, religious studies, sociology, women and gender studies. 55 Mount Allison students have become Rhodes Scholars so far, which is one of the best records in the country.
