Resident Visa

The 2021 Resident Visa in New Zealand is for the migrant workers and businesses who played a crucial role in supporting its economy when the border remained closed.

Applicant’s partner and dependent children can also be included in residential visa, including those currently outside New Zealand.

Applications will open in two different phases from 1 December 2021 for:

• Candidates who previously applied for residence under the Skilled Migrant or Residence from Work categories on or before 29 September 2021.
• Candidates who submitted an application for the Skilled Migrant category EOI and included a dependent child in the EOI aged 17 years and above on 29 September 2021.

Please Note: For remaining eligible applicants, applications will open from 1 March 2022 and must be strictly submitted by 31 July 2022.
