Bristol, one of the most popular universities in the UK, is ranked in the world’s top 50 by QS World University Rankings 2020. The University of Bristol has been ranked sixth in Europe by Times Higher Education (THE) that focuses on the institutions’ teaching and learning environments. As for employment opportunities, Bristol ranks at ninth place for graduate employability and is the fourth most sought after by UK employers. From a research standpoint, Bristol is among the top five institutions.

Over 200 courses that cover a broad range of subjects are offered to students, of which 27 subjects are highly rated within the world’s top 100. Nine of Bristol’s subjects are within the top 50 and two are within the top 20 alongside other leading universities. The subjects include English, Philosophy, Anatomy, Physiology, Education, Social Policy, and Geography. Most notably, Earth Sciences was ranked 15th best in the world and 3rd in the UK, while Veterinary Science was ranked 19th in the world. The courses allow students to work on real-life projects alongside academics, who are experts in their fields.
