The programmes offered are: Agriculture, Arts & Culture, business, cookery & hospitality, civil & mining, education, trade, health & beauty, tourism, and traffic management. The Institute’s popular Outdoor Education programme teaches technical, leadership and teamwork skills on West Coast rivers and mountains along with a Ski Patrol programme based in Wanaka that makes the most of the South Island’s world-famous ski fields. These programmes are offered across campuses located at Christchurch, Reefton, Greymouth, Auckland, Wanaka, and Westport. Student are also given awards and scholarships to enable their participation in full time programmes.
