MacEwan University scores high in the Globe and Mail‘s Canadian University Report as a result of its intentional focus on teaching. The student satisfaction rate is at 95% for the MacEwan University experience. MacEwan University offers eight four-year bachelor programs, two applied degrees, as well as 43 diploma and certificate programs. Hundreds of non-credit professional and personal development courses are offered on a part-time basis as well as programming for university and college preparation and English-as-a-Second-Language courses.
The subject areas covered by the programs include, accounting, acupuncture, arts and culture, Asia Pacific management, applied human service, communication, design, education, science, engineering, social work, business, correctional services, emergency communications and response, English, hearing aid practitioner, library and IT, massage therapy, paralegal studies, police studies, health services, public relations, social work, and travel. The University offers a range of niche programming in health and community studies such as the Bachelor of Child and Youth Care, Social Work and Psychiatric Nursing.
